| The Superficial Leaders of America | Another political scandal, who would have guessed! It seems that when George W. Bush was questioned on wether or not he had taken illegal drugs before, his answer was something to the effect of, "If I admit to taking drugs, then I might give kids the wrong impression." Well, I've got a little secret for you Mr. Bush, IT'S TOO LATE!! The moment you decided to take those drugs is when you gave kids the wrong impression, not when you got caught. It seems that this is fast becoming the mentality of today's leaders: "I'm a good person as long as I'm not caught at being a bad one." The simple fact they're missing in all this is that, no matter what the public sees of you, it's truly the private things that make you who you are. It's the things you won't get credit for, but do them anyway. It's knowing you could get away with something, but saying no nonetheless. And I know this may sound corny for some of you, but some of us out here still have values, still have morals, and intend to put people in office who actually have some too. It's what people don't see that make you a good or bad person, I'm sure anyone can be superficially a good person, but it simply takes more than that to be a truly good person. Getting caught by the public has nothing to do with it, because we've all already been caught by God. | ||||||||||||||||||

Hey Sarah, a few of us just wanted to say hi, and thank you for being you. It has become apparent to all of us that when we're around you, we like who we are.
